Sur les planches is one of the most influential theatre criticism platforms in Europe. Founded in 2010 by Laurent Schteiner, it is dedicated to promoting both classical repertoire and contemporary creations. With a strong focus on high-quality and thought-provoking stage works, the platform has quickly distinguished itself among cultural media by targeting professionals in the performing arts field.
Covering theatre, music, dance, circus, and street performance, Sur les planches has become one of the most respected critical voices in the industry. Through its sharp and analytical perspective, it has had a profound impact on the contemporary French theatre landscape. In recent years, the platform has actively expanded its intercultural outlook, playing a key role in the diversification and transformation of theatrical criticism.

Compagnie Batteries d’Entrailles was co-founded in May 2019 by Célia Dumont-Malet, Adèle Beuchot-Costet and Inès Musial with the production Corps d’Attente (Bodies in Waiting)—directed by her—at its core. The company is dedicated to exploring how theatre, through emotional depth and embodied expression, can serve as a liberatory narrative space for women and gender minorities.
Rooted in physical theatre, our creations are deeply collaborative, with each member contributing a unique perspective to the weaving of a shared stage language. Our projects are feminist and poetic in nature, seeking to engage imaginations and sensory experiences often marginalized by dominant aesthetic norms.
We aim to challenge assumptions around theatrical creation—particularly notions of precision in movement and clarity in language—by fostering a dialogue between alternative forms of expression. (Photo credit: ©Théo Bianconi)

CREATIVE_IL_GAK is a theater collective founded in October 2017. The group is dedicated to discovering small yet vital values in our society—values that must be preserved regardless of changing times.
