For a moment, we were united in bursts of loud laughter. Résine enchanted us with a mischievous stage direction, performers for whom everything seems effortless, and a message we wish could be shared as widely as possible. It is a tremendous show for young audiences—and a tremendous show for all audiences. It is a multi-layered cake of great ideas, where everyone finds something to laugh at, reflect on, and marvel at. The whole production is carried by a magnificent musical score—the kind of melody that makes people unabashedly sing "burn the witches" across all of Avignon.
