Marjolaine Juste
France | Puppeteer, Director, Playwright, Visual Designer
Marjolaine Juste is a renowned French puppeteer, theatre director, playwright, and visual artist. Artistic Director of Compagnie Les Enfants de la Justice, her work blends handcrafted visual artistry with physical performance. A lifelong storyteller, she studied modern literature at Paris Diderot University under narrative scholar Bernadette Bricout and later trained in theatre at the École Jacques Lecoq with Paola Rizza.
Rooted in family traditions of puppetry, she began her theatrical journey alongside her brother, an accordionist, and has since collaborated with performers, musicians, and singers to craft immersive story-worlds. Her poetic, body-driven theatre reimagines traditional narratives through contemporary lenses.
